the guides
CO-HOST
Natalie is a photographer, educator, and forever student of life, drawn to finding the extraordinary within the ordinary. Motherhood first led her to pick up a camera, with her children becoming her original muses, and photography has since become a way of exploring the beauty, impermanence, and honest emotion of being human. Her work is intentional, raw, and deeply rooted in presence. She is passionate about helping other artists release expectations, trust their intuition, and create from a place that feels true.
CO-HOST
As a former movement artist, current mother, and perpetual romantic - Mari views the world and the people in it with poetic wonder… the good and the bad. She has been primarily a wedding and family photographer full-time for 11 years and an educator for 6 years. She appreciates the mundane and simple and finds the most creativity in everyday life. Rooted in home.
Her work transforms and adapts depending on who is in front of her camera. Mixing raw moments, movement based prompts, and intentional posing.
EDUCATOR
Cara Mia is a Utah-based photographer, educator, and creative director known for her imaginative, color-driven approach. Since beginning her career in photography, she has photographed weddings and editorial work and taught photographers across the world. Her work is rooted in storytelling, experimentation, and a fascination with the surreal and unexpected.
Drawing inspiration from nature, art, travel, and fantasy, Cara’s work often blurs the line between documentation and constructed worlds. She is equally passionate about education and helping other artists explore what makes their own work distinct.
EDUCATOR
Layni is a photographer and educator who is constantly chasing whatever makes her excited to create. She’s passionate about teaching other creatives and helping them figure out who they are as artists, while also figuring that out for herself along the way. She’s heavily inspired by cinematography, and all things visually interesting. Lately, she’s been having a lot of fun with editorial photography, playing with shapes, composition, and the way her subjects interact with their surroundings. She never wants to stay in one box or one niche, and is always looking for new ways to push herself, try something weird, and make something that feels like her.
PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER
Yan Palmer is a walking contradiction, mountain mystic, comedian poet who believes herself to be "no one," but also the literal embodiment of beauty.
So.
Get ready. Yan will see your soul all naked since she uses her film cameras to photographs the invisible thread that connects us all.
When Yan is not traveling to photograph clients, you can find her using a similar thread (ok, it was yarn) to walk her dog, Tuesday through the mountains of Utah where she is a proud single mama to three teenagers.
ELEMENTAL YOGA
Throughout our week together, Sasha will guide you through a carefully curated series of practices designed to harmonize body, mind, and spirit.
Infused with womb wisdom, Earth medicine arts, and the embodied traditions of Hatha and Tantra Yoga, these practices invite you to slow down, reconnect with your body, turn inward, and awaken to the creative wisdom that has always lived within you.
Sasha will also be guiding our Sunset Welcome Circle and Opening Ritual to ground us into our bodies and hearts, while opening us into our unified field of co-creation or our week together.
